Okay, so let's get to it.
Today we're going to be talking about intuition.
Intuition, I feel like, is something that I get a lot of questions about.
And it is also something that I have been deep diving into for the last year and is something
that I've been working a lot with my one-on-one clients on.
So what the hell is intuition?
I feel like you have that basic baseline answer of intuition of, you know, like, you
know, my gut instinct and absolutely gut instinct is for sure your intuition.
But there's so much more that we can dive into and really be able to get clarity, clear
answers on for ourselves, for our lives in general.
And there's never been a time, like, I have spent the last 2018, but really in 2019 to
now, so six, seven years really diving into personal development work and neuroscience
and understanding my brain and that psychology and doing all of these things.
And none of it quite clicks like the intuition side because intuition is not something that's
fully tangible.
But when you start realizing there's so many things in your life that you're doing based
on intuition, it kind of takes out the guessing game of life and things just start to make
so much more sense.
Like, oh, no wonder why this happened the way that it did.
You know, you can almost put the piece, like it's like figuring out all of the, you have
like an invisible puzzle that you really can't see, but like when the piece is clicked,
you can feel it.
And that is kind of what we're going to dive into today.
And really excited because I spend so much time with my one-on-one clients kind of going
over intuition.
I use my intuition to help them as a trained intuitive, really figuring out like exactly
you know, this thing is happening in their life.
Why is that happening?
What do they need to learn from it?
How do they move forward?
You know, what is their most aligned actions to take all of that stuff I use my intuition
for, but I also want every person who works with me.
Like, I want them to be set up for success for life.
So I really kind of do that basic one-on-one intuition training of like, here's your
yes and no, here's how you do that.
And so that is something that will, you know, be now available in radiant nurse essentials.
So if you join the membership, which is literally $30 a month, you can cancel at any time if
it's not your vibe.
But one of the modules in there is going to be all about intuition, figuring out your
yes, no, figuring out how you can start actually training the muscle that is your
intuition to kind of help you go through life more smoothly, more easily, have those
things that you're like, okay, like this obstacle happened.
And then you can actually figure out like why the heck that obstacle happened and how
to overcome it so much more smoothly.
It really takes the guess and game out of life.
So what the heck is intuition?
As nurses, everyone, everyone on this planet has intuition to some capacity, some level.
We can all train it up, but some people are just more naturally intuitive than others,
but everybody can have intuition and can train it.
So don't be like this doesn't apply to me.
No, no, no.
As nurses, I can guarantee you look at your experience as a nurse and find those moments
where you had zero logic to back up your gut instinct, but you were like, there's something
wrong with this patient.
Their vitals are fine.
Their blood work is fine, but you're like, there is something wrong with this patient
or something's going to go down.
And I can tell you from personal experience, like I feel like I always know if like my
patient's going to go south on me.
Also, when I talk to my clients, like there's so many nurses who have so many wild ass
stories of like, logic could not be explained to this, but they knew something before, you
know, whether it be simple is just like choosing the right IV to put in or, you know, knowing
that, you know, if they gave this med, something bad would happen and being able to go and
advocate with the physicians.
But like, logically, you're like, oh, you know, it should work, but you're like, no, no, no,
no, no, no, we can't do this.
And maybe it's because you have experience and you've been bitten one too many times.
But most of the time it's that like, in or knowing that gut thing.
And that is the thing with intuition.
It's very like a neutral experience when you get into it if hit.
It is not emotional.
You're not going to be in like full blown panic and then have a thought that something horrible
could happen.
That's not your intuition.
And that's your anxiety.
That is the fight flight brain.
That is your ego brain trying to protect you and keep you safe.
So if you are in that state of fight flight, if you're freaking out and you have that worst
case scenario, thought that doesn't mean that that worst case scenario, thought is going
to happen.
Most of the time that's from our anxiety and like that ego brain, not intuition.
Is that inner knowing?
So what exactly is intuition?
Now this is something that like science is just starting to catch up with in psychology.
There's so much.
There's neuroscience.
We have these things like mirror receptors where we notice other people doing things
and we start to mirror them back or and we have all of these things.
Physics can explain quantum physics with our electromagnetic field.
They have things in the planet like fish.
When you have a school of fish and you've ever seen like videos of the fish where they're
all like turning and moving in the exact same way and you're like, how do all of these
fish and know how to be in sync?
And they've actually been doing research on this and they have like thought fields almost
where all of the fish are tuned in.
And so they all know and like instinctually know which direction the other fish are going
to go and we all go in the same thing.
And the thing is the same with humans.
And a lot of the times think about it with like animals.
Do you ever just like know how animals, you know, will meet somebody and they will immediately
love that person?
They all immediately hate that person.
And if you're like a dog person, like, you know, dogs come up to you and they're like,
God, I love you.
And you're like, yeah, you know, you probably smell my dog on me.
I love dog.
That's more than just your opinion about dogs.
It is literally like the energy that you're giving off to the world.
So when you train your intuition, which is a neuro muscle, what you actually are training
yourself to do is start to tune into all of that energy and all of the things that are
being sent out to the world and actually get messages back.
And Alessandro, who is a trained intuitive that I get a lot of information from, I got
it like healing.
You want to check him out?
He's amazing.
So he kind of explains intuition like reading braille.
It's not the same, you know, you hear human English and your brain interprets that and
tells you something.
It is more like the feeling and the sensation of training your brain to know when I get
this sensation, this feeling, it means this thing.
So it's more like learning to your, you know, if you had your sense of eyesight or your
sense of hearing cut off, what other senses would you start to pick up and you have that
like ability?
Like even if you're in a dark, close room, if somebody else walks in the room and didn't
hear it, you can feel that there's not a person there.
You ever get that like, you know, maybe you're walking down the street and you're like,
somebody's watching me.
Like that's not by accident.
That is a instinctual intuitive sensation.
And you might get that, especially like moms, moms have like the insaneest, in most insane
intuition.
Like if you've ever talked to a mom where they're like, you know, it's been quiet for
too long.
And they're like, I just know that little Jimmy is getting into trouble.
He is, you know, in the closet, pulling out all the towels and making a massive mess.
And then they go and they find out and guess what?
Little Jimmy is doing exactly what mom said.
So did she actually physically see him like through the floors in the house?
No, she intuitively knew what he was doing because she was connected into him with before
even realizing it.
And this happened all the time too with like your best friends, your, you know, partners
in life.
If you're constantly finishing each other's sentences, if you're constantly being like,
I was thinking of thought and then the other person says it, that is literally your intuition,
picking up on what you like, what they are thinking and they're saying.
And because we can't see it, but we are constantly like sending out these signals to the world
of the way that we think feel all based on our life experiences.
And this is really all kind of crazy because it's all stuff that we can't feel.
But the more you learn about it, the more you train about it, you get reinforced of just
like, Oh, yeah, there's another moment of like, wow, my intuition was spot on.
That's so crazy.
And the more science research and things that are happening, the more this makes sense.
Because they've been able to, you know, prove these different things like our electromagnetic
field that we put out in different emotions and how humans can pick things up from other
people and animals and things like that.
They're able to pick up so much that isn't like logical.
Wow, they said this.
We verbalize this, but they're able to communicate so effectively with just feelings, emotions,
and sensation, but we're not always aware that this is happening.
And so with intuition, it really becomes such a vital tool as a nurse.
And a lot of the time we've been doing it unconsciously where you get that inner knowing
you just know, you know something and really learning to trust that that's like, you know,
what this means, I need to advocate this means I need to stand up to step up to communicate
to second check all those things.
Or maybe it's just like, maybe I shouldn't drive home this way.
I have this like calling to drive home the long way.
And then you find out that there was a car crash on the way that you normally drive home
or something like that.
Really learning like that wasn't by accident.
That was something that you were connecting into the universe a little bit more deeply
than you normally are consciously aware of.
As you start to do this, you can figure out like, OK, my anxiety is telling me that like,
I shouldn't do this in my nursing career.
But what is your higher self?
Like, what is your actual soul trying to pull you towards?
Like, what are the things that you truly want?
And this is where it gets really, really beautiful for my clients where we can figure
out like, OK, like, yeah, you've been in this nursing career for a while.
And, you know, there's things that you love about it.
There's things that you hate about it.
But you still kind of feel stuck.
Like, I don't know where to go next.
This is where intuition is so beautiful and so powerful because we can have like,
I can teach you how to do it, but I can also, you know, go through it for you and just be like,
OK, so this is where you're at right now.
And this is why you're at right now.
And the reason that anything happens in that we make any decisions,
like your higher self knows you better than you even know you.
Like your higher self puts you in situations where it's like, I know she's going to make
this decision.
She's going to mess up in this way.
And this is going to teach her this lesson.
And because she learns this lesson, she's going to grow in this capacity, which is going to get
her prepared to take on that next level, to take on that new thing, to do that thing
that your higher self wants you to do.
And so nothing happens by accident.
If you like take away nothing else, nothing happens by accident, but the ability to learn
the language of intuition is basically learning how to tap in and actually understand all
of these little signals and sensations and things like learning how to read Braille,
like all of that, that new way of communicating.
Hey, when I get this sensation, this means this, this means like and really kind of
interpreting that so that as you go through life, you're like, that makes complete sense.
That makes complete sense.
Okay, this, this whole situation completely blew up in a way that I never wanted, but why
did that happen?
And, and I've found that what it's done for both myself and my clients is allowed us to
get out of that victim mentality because you're not like the world is against me.
You're like, Oh, no, the worst case scenario happened, but it happens for this very specific
reason.
And if you can understand that, it takes that guessing game out of like the whole, like
that the sky is falling chicken little and you don't get why.
Now it's like, Oh, this is why this is so powerful to be able to understand why life is
happening the way that it is and then be able to overcome those obstacles the fastest
because you're like, okay, well, I know why it happened.
I know what my higher self and my soul is trying to teach me.
Well, I can speed up that lesson and learn that faster and move forward faster.
And I don't have to keep, you know, hitting all of these potholes and hurdles every step of
the way, because they've already like learned that lesson.
And this is the thing.
Your soul really has a massive plan for you, even if you're like, no, no, I'm not special.
No, no, like you are so unique and special and your soul has a plan for you.
And if you don't follow the soul plan and you keep her like, no, I'm good.
I'm going to sit this one out.
I'm good.
I can tell you this from Persian language.
The hurdles and the lessons just keep coming until you learn the lesson.
So basically it's you can't any way you go about it.
Like you're going to learn these lessons.
It's just going to take you a very short period of time or a very long period of time and being
able to use intuition as a tool allows you to understand and speed that process up and get
you faster into that place that you're like, I understand myself more deeply than I've ever
understood before.
I know how to support myself.
I know how to take care of myself.
I know what my path is.
Like I know the steps I need to take.
I, you know, know exactly where I am and I can really be proud and accomplished in this space,
but I also know where I'm going.
And that's a beautiful experience.
So in radiant nurse essentials to start with, I'm just teaching all of the students in
there their yes and no's.
So you can kind of go through life and I tell people to start using this, you know, with
everything, whether it be like, you know what, like, should I eat salmon for dinner tonight?
And yes, no, like that's going to support my health and wellness the best.
And really getting clear on those kinds of things because the more you practice using
your intuition, it's basically like you can't walk into the gym and just deadlift 500 pounds.
If you've never worked out a day in your life, you have to start small and work that
muscles up until you have the muscle strength capacity form to be able to deadlift that 500 pounds.
And so when you start using your intuition, use it with all these little things, just like
figuring out, okay, my yes for myself is this and my no for myself is this.
And then just ask like, okay, should I drive home this way?
Should I drive home this way?
Would buying chicken be the most beneficial thing for me today?
Or should I go out with my friends to the coffee shop?
Because I'm feeling a little iffy on it.
And really practicing with all of those day to day things, it starts to become more and more
unconscious and mute those intuition muscles get stronger and stronger.
And when you've practiced with all those like seemingly insignificant things, that's
when you can use your intuition for the big life decisions, like making those big
expensive purchasing decisions, whether it be like your life path, whether it be, you
know, should you apply interview a job?
Should you accept a job if it's offered to you?
All of those things that are bigger and more emotional are going to be more difficult
because emotions want to 100% get in the way of your intuition coming through clearly.
So the more emotional you are, the more likely you're going to manipulate your emotion, your
intuition.
And that's totally okay because intuition is one of those things that, you know, you want
to do it wrong so that you can figure out how to actually do it right and figure out the
way that works best for you.
Everyone has intuition, but how their intuition specifically communicates with you
is going to be a little bit unique to you.
Like there is commonalities in that.
And there's definitely techniques and tools to be used, but really figuring out for yourself
is so vital.
And so this is something where it's like, we, I want you to do it wrong so that you can
figure out how to do it right and be able to do it in those like moments where you're like,
okay, I have a really stressful and important decision to make.
What is the best for my higher self, my sole plan for me to make a decision moving forward?
And so that is why intuition is so incredibly powerful.
It is just really connecting into yourself more deeply than ever connecting into source
in the universe and really figuring out all of that, like underlying messages that just
connects everything together and allows the world we live in and all of the things that
are happening around us to just start making sense.
