73. What Safety Means to Your Brain

You probably feel that safety is something you need in your life. If I was to ask what you need to feel safe you'd probably answer like i would in the past: housing, money, job, healthy relationship etc. But after achieving those things, I continued to get reflections in my life pointing to me not feeling safe. As I looked into this more I learned that our brain, body and nervous system do not see the external things as safety, it has a different definition. This episode will teach you about what safety actually means to your brain and how to start creating it for yourself. So you can feel truly safe in yourself and your ability to handle what life has to throw at you.
